Hi! My name is Lila Lobel, and I'm in 8th grade. I'm this year's Project 351 Ambassador. Project 351 provides leadership opportunities for 8th graders all across Massachusetts, and this spring, we're partnering with Cradles to Crayons for a clothing drive. Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that provides clothing to kids facing clothing insecurity. Their goal is to provide kids with the necessities they need to feel safe, warm, valued, and ready to learn. Why is this needed? Well, 1 in 3 kids in Massachusetts are at risk of facing clothing insecurity. There are 6.985 million people in Mass, so that's a lot of kids!
For my drive, please donate new or like-new clothes from sizes infant to adult medium. Socks, underwear, and pajamas have to be new! Donation bins will be located near the main office and near the fitness/wellness room. By donating, you are helping to end clothing insecurity for children in Massachusetts.
