NAMS Musical - Date Changes

Good afternoon NAMS families,

I hope that this message finds you well. As you know, NAMS is in the final stages of an addition and renovation project. The final stage of the project is work in our auditorium. Although we made efforts to complete some of this work during the summer, there is still much to be done including, but not limited to, the following:

• Renovating and replacing the lighting

• Installing new rigging and curtains

• Installing a stage lift for accessibility

This work will take 6-8 weeks to complete. Working with the Project Managers and Contractors, we have determined that this work will need to begin on November 4, 2024 in order to be done before the new year.

As you can imagine, we would like to have our annual musical in a renovated auditorium so we will be rescheduling the NAMS Musical, “Legally Blonde, Jr” to January 23-25, 2024.

There are several locations in our school that we can use for rehearsals while renovations are taking place and we anticipate being back in the auditorium after the new year. 

Our band classes that normally use the stage will be relocated for November and December. 

Our trimester one chorus concerts on November 20th and November 21st will be performed at the North Andover High School auditorium.
