Message to NAMS Families 9/12/21

Good Evening NAMS Families,

I hope that this message finds you and your loved ones well. As we enter week 3 of the school year, I hope that your families are reestablishing those school routines. It continues to be wonderful to have all of our students back in school full time every day. 

 

Below you will find important information and reminders.

 

NAMS PTAC Meeting

The NAMS Parent Teacher Advisory Council (PTAC) will host its first meeting of the year remotely on Monday, September 13th at 7:00 p.m.  All parents/guardians of NAMS students are welcome.  Please join us!

Lunch at NAMS

We have been very pleased with how well students have adjusted to all of the routines and protocols associated with lunch at NAMS. Our Grade 6 students continue to sit with their teams and are getting to know new people this year. Our Grades 7 & 8 students had the opportunity last Friday to choose their tables. All students have identified what table they sit at in the cafeteria and what seat they are in as well. Now that this has been finalized, we will be creating opportunities for students to be outside during lunch. We have reserved the courtyard next to the cafeteria for students to eat lunch and we also have a large area outside of the cafeteria if the courtyard is full.

 

NA’s New Website

You will be able to find lots of information on our school’s website, including these weekly messages. Did you know that you can also change the language of our website? I recorded a short video here highlighting how to navigate our website.

 

School Picture Day - Save the date!

School Picture Day is scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2021. Picture order forms will be sent home with students and emailed to families on Wednesday, September 15, 2o21.

 

NAMS Open House Dates - Save the dates!

• Grade 6 - Wednesday, September 22, 2021 @ 6:00 p.m.

• Grade 7 - Wednesday, September 29, 2021 @ 6:00 p.m.

• Grade 8 - Wednesday, October 6, 2021 @ 6:00 p.m.
