Grade 7 Student Recognitions

During Trimester 1 all of our 7th graders participated in the SIFMA Foundation's Stock Market Game. Students invested $100,000 in stocks, bonds, or mutual funds to earn the highest return by the end of the game period. In a two month period, a team of two students (Mehak Sankhla and Yashas Tarikere) from 7A had a return of almost $20,000. They are being recognized by the SIFMA Foundation as the 2nd place winners out of 315 teams!! This is the first time in the five years of participating that any team from North Andover has placed in the top three! Thank you to Ms. Dufner, Ms. Gladhill, & Mr. Tanglis for leading this annual event.

Need Help with Electricity & Gas Bills?

Are you struggling to pay your electricity and gas bills or are you paying too much for energy? There are many programs that can help residents save money on energy and pay off overdue bills.

The nonprofit All In Energy helps residents assess which programs are best for them and help them get started. Programs include reduced gas and electric rates, utility bill assistance, repayment and forgiveness programs, winter fuel assistance, help getting off expensive 3rd party energy suppliers, energy efficiency, and more.

The Attorney General’s office encourages residents to check out All In Energy to get free wraparound support related to their utility bills. All In Energy can help residents in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Please contact All In Energy using the following information:

  • BillCheckUp.org (coming soon in Spanish and Portuguese)

  • 617-430-6230

  • billcheckup@allinenergy.org

In this folder, you may find flyers versions in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Private High School or Technical High School Application Process

We understand the importance of finding the right school for your child and will support them throughout this process. If your child is planning on applying to a private high school or technical high school we ask that you reference the following link to download all necessary documents as well as to familiarize yourself with our process and requirements here. You may find even more information below.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Private High School and/or Technical High School

We understand the importance of finding the right school for your child and will support them throughout this process. If your child is planning on applying to a private high school or technical high school we ask that you reference the following link to download all necessary documents as well as to familiarize yourself with our process and requirements here.

Please have your child fill out the activity sheet and provide a copy to your child's guidance counselor as well as any teacher who is writing a recommendation.  This information is incredibly helpful as our wish is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of your child's strengths, accomplishments and overall skill set.

We ask parents/guardians and students to research private high schools on their own.  The guidance department does not provide information or applications regarding private high schools, however, we will assist your child by writing recommendations and sending all supporting documents.  For "on-line" recommendations, the guidance department completes the "school report" (i.e. "principal/counselor recommendation" and "transcript" form).  "Personal"  and "Special Interest" recommendations are generally completed by someone other than the guidance counselor.

Greater Lawrence Technical High School and Essex Tech applications are now generated online.  Here are the links for those schools:

All private/technical school applications that have been given to one of the following Guidance Counselors:

  • Grade 6 - Ms. Chute

  • Grade 7 - Ms. Faucher

  • Grade 8 - Mr. Gosselin

We will make every effort to upload your child's applications by the identified due date.
